The Delta, Chobe & Kruger combination tour starts and ends in Johannesburg. We make our way into the Kalahari. Here we will spend time getting to know the fascinating San people. We make our way to Maun, gateway to the Okavango Delta. We embark on our exploration of the Okavango Delta, one of Africa’s great wilderness areas. There you will become an expert at “poling” your mokoro (a dugout canoe) through the waterways. Heading North we visit Chobe National Park for a game viewing boat cruise. We arrive in Victoria Falls where the available activities are limitless. Board the truck for your two day transit to Johannesburg and the start of your Kruger tour. Experience the thrill of being on safari, observing the big five as well as zebras, giraffe and rhinos and be inspired by an authentically African atmosphere. Our return journey to Johannesburg takes us via the scenic Panorama Route where we will visit God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and Blyde River Canyon. We travel North to a popular craft market where you can barter for handmade goods before arriving at Etosha National Park for a unique game driving experience. Etosha is the venue for some of the most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. We travel to Kamanjab to visit the Himba people, easily recognised by their style of dress. Spitzkoppe is our next destination where we explore unique rock formations and view starry skies. Followed up by a visit to the adventure captial of Namibia: Swakopmund. Okavango and Chobe Trail - North 2021

Our 8 day tour beings as we leave behind the bright city lights of Johannesburg and head north and travel to the greater Kalahari region. Venturing deeper into the Central Kalahari, we will spend time getting to know the fascinating San people in the small local town of Ghanzi and we will get an insight into their way of living and how they survived in the harsh environment of the Kalahari.  During our short stop in Maun, you will have the opportunity to book a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, spotting animals from above is always entertaining and the sheer vastness of the plains will leave you in awe.  Those that opt to stay in Maun will have the chance to stock up on essentials or take the opportunity to write a postcard or two.  Exploring the Okavango Delta is a must for any tourist visiting Botswana and our next two nights have been designed to give you the best opportunity to view the wildlife.   Boarding our open 4×4 game viewing vehicles, we set off from Maun and head to our base located close to the Moremi Game Reserve South Gate camp.  Don’t forget to photograph hippos and crocodiles from your Mokoro (dugout canoe) as the polers glide your mokoro through the waterways of the Okavango Delta. After our game drive through Moremi National Park, we spend the final night at our South Gate camp before heading through the Savuti National Park for a full day of game viewing, before reaching the banks of the Chobe River. In Chobe National Park, we enjoy an afternoon river cruise where you can sip on an ice cold sundowner while watching elephants playing in and crossing the river only metres away. With the memories of our wildlife encounters firmly etched in our minds, we cross the border to Zimbabwe and travel the short distance to Victoria Falls. Gorilla Encounter 2021
