Arebbusch Travel Lodge offers quality accommodation at affordable rates in a natural setting in Windhoek – a gateway to the many wonders of Namibia’s beautiful wide open spaces, its fascinating variety of cultures, nature, wildlife and majestic sunsets.
Situated on the banks of the dry Arebbusch River, Arebbusch Travel Lodge nestles in the natural surroundings of the “veld”. Far from the hustle and bustle of central city life, yet minutes away from the capital’s shopping centers and attractions.
Arebbusch Travel Lodge provides a wide variety of value-for-money accommodation in a safe, clean and family friendly environment. Accommodation types include luxury bed and breakfast rooms, standard bed and breakfast rooms, self-catering units, luxury tents and caravan/camping sites. All accommodation may be taken on either a B&B or on a self-catering basis.
On the premises is a restaurant, pizzeria and conference/function facilities. The restaurant is open 7 days a week from 06:30am until 10pm, including most public holidays, to guests and the general public. The pizzeria is open 7 days a week from 12 midday until 10pm, including most public holidays, to guests and the general public. There are 2 air-conditioned conference/function venues as well as an enclosed thatch lapa with adjoining wet bar.
Established in 1993, Arebbusch Travel Lodge is privately owned and is classified as a Rest Camp. It is registered with the Namibian Tourism Board (Reg no.RES00024) and it has been a member of the Hospitality Association of Namibia since 1997.
Situated approximately 10 minutes away from the Windhoek city centre, the guest has easy access to a wide range of activities. Windhoek offers the tourist first world banking and business facilities, medical services, great shopping, wonderful culinary experiences and a vibrant night life. Tourists can either take a structured city tour or explore on their own. Windhoek is both colourful and culturally diverse, and there is always something for people of all ages and walks of life. During the daytime there are historical sites, nature walks, shopping malls, museums, curio shops and outdoor craft markets to keep one busy. In the evenings there are a number of nightclubs and pubs for the younger generation, while for the slightly older generation there are theatres, wine bars and a variety of restaurants. Arebbusch Travel Lodge is also situated adjacent to the golf course and domestic airport. It’s positioning and service offering make Arebbusch Travel Lodge ideal for tourists as well as locals.

There are two receptions on the premises, a main reception and a satellite reception at Arebbusch Square. The main reception is on the left-hand side, approximately 200m from the entrance gate,and it is open 24-hours a day. The satellite reception is located at Arebbusch Square on the right-hand side approximately 500m from the entrance gate, and it is open from 7am until 11pm.
Guest’s safety is of paramount importance at Arebbusch Travel Lodge. There are guards on patrol and at the entrance gate 24 hours a day, and the premises is surrounded by a palisade and electrified fence. While Namibia is a safe destination, it is always a good idea to be careful when visiting an unfamiliar city.
