Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales and FIT Consultant at Nomad Africa Tours & Safaris. The Sales and FIT Consultant will be responsible for sales consulting, customer satisfaction, communication, customer service, and consulting. The position is based in Strand, with the option for some work from home.
Qualifications
- Sales Consulting, Consulting, and Communication skills
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 2+ years’ experience in travel sales, preferably with adventure or overland travel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Business, Hospitality, or related field
- Familiarity with booking platforms and CRM tools and Tourplan and WETU.
- Excellent skills in Office 365, especially excel.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of Southern and East Africa’s travel landscape, including top adventure destinations and logistics.
- Confident communicator with excellent consultative sales skills.
- Ability to match adventure activities to client fitness levels and comfort zones.
- Passion for wildlife, nature, and responsible tourism.
- Bonus if you have guiding experience.
