Tour Feedback

I joined the The tour to Mozambique. We had a great group and two wonderful guides. The political situation in Mozambique was very difficult at this time but our guides were doing a great job. Our driver and guide Tawanda was doing a great job. He knows so much about the countries we visited and had always informations about the places we visited. The second guide Ruan was cooking everyday delicious food for us even the conditions haven’t been perfect for cooking for so much people. The food was always fresh and always ready at the time he told us. For any help we needed both guides were always there to help us. They have a really hard job but they were always doing great even it’s not always easy with us tourists. It was not my first adventure tour but the first time I had such great tour guides, so much informations about the countries and delicious food. Thanks to Tawanda and Ruan for this awesome experience!

Discover Mozambique 

I enjoyed my third tour with Nomad a lot! I really liked the combination of the tour of safari & beach. also the serengeti was great with the private jeep vehicles. the tour guides were really nice too and i loved the group!! I was a bit scared in the night in serengeti as the tents had no fence at all. Also an elephant just passed the camp 10 minutes before we wanted to go to bed…! I was sad to leave the group in zanzibar and would have wished that the tour would include at least 1 more night in zanzibar. also the rest said, they would have stayed longer.

I am sure I will do soon another Nomad tour again!

In September my sister and I did the camping tour from Cape Town to Vic Falls. We wanted to tell you that it was a fantastic experience!! We are already dreaming of returning to Africa for another tour some day! East Africa maybe…. If we manage to save up enough money. We also want to point out how happy we were with our guides Morrison and Mxolisi! We felt that they really knew what they were doing and they looked after everyone very well! We always got informed very well and they did their very best to stick to the timing and to make the most out of every day! Morrison and Mxolisi, thank you so much for making our first time in Africa such an amazing and unforgettable experience!!

Nomad is to be congratulated on having a consultant so helpful.

The English language is not a barrier or impediment for me. Could be serviced by someone who doesn’t speak Portuguese, but your efficiency and for you being Brazilian, understands perfectly that we always leave everything to the last minute, and sometimes a few things escape from our control such as banks and post offices on strike. Will be a pleasure to meet you in Cape Town at the end of my tour! Thank you so much for everything!

Hope you will remember me! I travelled with Nomad the 14th august from Cape town to Vic Falls. This trip was a wonderful experice. I enjoyed everything we did with the group. I am now still travelling in southern Africa on my own. I wanted to thank you. I wanted particularly to tell you that Zenzo and Thembi our guide and cook are very professionnally and also friendly and well organised! I will always have good memories about this trip thanks to you all.

Cape town to Vic Falls

Well its all over and Laura and I are now back home having had the most wonderful adventure with Nomad. It was everything you said and more. Africa is the most amazing continent to visit as you just don’t know what will happen next. We had amazingly good luck as everything went well and the animal spotting was very successful.  I have included the link to Laura’s video of a single lion catching a buffalo – a bit graphic but I guess this is the real Africa. Norman and Servius deserve special mention – they presented with the enthusiasm of a first trip but with the knowledge and professionalism of people who had done it a hundred times before. And  Laura the vegetarian – she was very well looked after by Norman who does understand the needs of a vegetarian not only in the food they eat but how it should be prepared and served. And to you Jess I say thank you for your patience with me and the 100 questions and your advise. We both very much appreciate all you did for us.

It won’t be the last time you hear from us!

We really enjoyed both tours – with respect to the route and the people. Both Nomad teams were awesome, but I really have to give a special praise to David and Vincent. They are a perfect match! We could easily recognize that they are a well-rehearsed team and love what they do. They always went the extra mile and we really apprecitate their efforts. Therefore, I would ask to have them as our guides for our next Nomard-Tour. Unfortunately, the next tour won’t be this year, since we have to go back to Germany at the end of November. But as already said, I am sure that we come back to Africa, to Nomad and than hopefully to David and Vincent!
