Nomad's New Cape Town Office Takes Shape

By Jessica | February 23, 2012

It is an exciting week for Nomad this week as we have two big changes that are happening concurrently. Not only have we launched Phase 1 of our new website (as you would be seeing right now), we are also moving our Cape Town office to an old jewellery store down the road.

Alex and his team have been covered in dust for days as they have ripped through display cabinets, walls, dodgy electrics, security doors and a whole lot more! Slowly but surely, 39 Castle Street is looking more and more like home!

Boxes are being packed at 1st Floor Leadership House and there are some sad faces as the team says goodbye to a long history and exciting time spent on Greenmarket Square. These offices have seen six years of our favourite guests, guides, consultants and so many more coming through our doors and we’re all taking a trip down memory lane as we close these doors for the last time.

We will be in extremely good company at 39 Castle Street with a German bookstore next door to us, the City Sightseeing Bus Stop right outside our door and we are right opposite Cape Town and Namibian Tourism. We look forward to hanging out with our new neighbours!

Here are a few photos of what the new office looks like today, with the team working as quickly as they are, we should be ready to move in this weekend!
