It has been way too long since our last agent outing, so this weekend we made sure to make up for lost time on our trip to De Uiljenes, a house of fun just outside Gansbaai.

We left Nomad’s Cape Town office on Friday afternoon with a truck full of relatively reserved people who didn’t know each other but by the time we were half way to our destination, everyone had introduced themselves and shared their most embarrassing tales with their new friends.

On arrival at camp, we made ourselves at home while our wonderful guides Victor and Philane got the fires going and organised a delicious SA style braai.

The rest of the weekend disappeared into a haze of “nagmars” (a night walk, no lights allowed – this one entailed crossing a rope bridge over a muddy river), midnight boat cruising, a 30 seconds marathon, a forest foray, bum charades, beer tasting and general “escape from the world and let your hair down madness”.
