The Nomad African Trust was founded in 2008 by Alex Rutherford and has since grown into an incredible organisation that last year, contributed R99 896.83 to it’s beneficiaries. This would not have been possible without the support of regular donors and sponsors and the hours of passionate work put in by Shannon Fletcher and Henk de Kock who run the Trust.

Not only has Shannon wrangled you all out of your last dollar to support the fund, but she is also going to be throwing herself out of an aeroplane at 10 000 to raise more funds for Rhino Conservation, a project spearheaded by the African Conservation Trust. To afford this opportunity, Shannon will raise at least R10 000 which will be used to protect our rhinos from potential poachers. If you’d like to know how you can support this cause, please sponsor Shannon by visiting the Given Gain website and make your pledge! She has already raised R3 000 towards the jump!

Shannon Fletcher is the crazy lady who will be throwing herself out of an aeroplane in support of our rhinos! She is also responsible for making everything happen at the Nomad African Trust

On the 25th May, Friday, 8pm there will be a Rock for Rhinos event at Nameless Pub in Somerset West, R20 will get you in the door where you will enjoy fantastic live music – please be sure not to miss this great evening out! All in the name of saving rhinos!
